Branding for a pizza restaurant
As part of the redevelopment of a former factory warehouse into a vibrant retail destination, a new pizza restaurant aptly named Pizza Factory found its home within the space. The challenge was to preserve the building's industrial character while creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encouraged people to gather. Located near a college and surrounded by city businesses, the restaurant was envisioned as a casual destination where students, professionals, and the local community could enjoy great pizza, relax, and spend time together. The branding needed to capture this balance, celebrating the site's industrial heritage while conveying the comfort, energy, and friendliness of a neighborhood pizzeria.

The shape of the logo combined the round pizza base with the shape of a factory building. The custom 'Pizza'-wordmark is hand-drawn to resemble tomato sauce spread across the pizza pie. With an industrial inspired typeface for 'Factory'.

While the interior focused on warm materials like wood and cork, the same was extended to the applied branding. The menu and pizza boxes are made of recycled cardboard and uses environmentally conscious printing techniques. While inspired by traditional neon signage, the window sign was produced using modern, energy-efficient LED technology.
